Facebook celebrates its 10th Birthday

More than 1.2 billion users worldwide with Facebook is celebrating its 10th birthday. On February 4, 2004 from Harvard university the Facebook company was launched by Mark Zuckerberg. The social networking site has since expended to cover a large swath of the world, according to the company's own recent figures, with more than 1.2 billion people using its site on a monthly basis.

Oppo N1 Worlds first smartphone with 13 megapixel rotating camera

Oppo N1 with its 13 megapixel rotating camera launched in India at Rs 39,999. The company launched Oppo N1 Phablet in the Indian market, After Gionee which recently launched its smartphones in India. The Oppo N1 phablet was unveiled Globally in China.

The smartphones priced rs 39,999 sports a 13-megapixel camera, it rotates upto 206 degrees. The main highlight of the device is this feature according to the company. Oppo N1 feature a large 5.9-inch full-HD IPS display, 16 to 32 GB storage, runs on Android 4.2. It also features 1.7 GHZ quad-core QUALCOMM snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB RAM, weights 213 grams, white colour and Dimensions 170.7*82.6*9 mm. Oppo N1 packs in a 3610mAh battery, wifi, bluetooth 4.0, NFC and DLNA as connectivity options.

A special event in London later this year is going to launch if recent speculations is to be believe that new smart watch of the Samsung, the Galaxy Gear2, can join it's next flagship handset, Galaxy s5.

The key changes for Galaxy Gear 2 will be a smooth bend surface display(curved display) according to the style of Samsung Galaxy Round.


In an interview with Bloomberg  Samsung mobile's vice president Lee Young  Hee confirmed the launch of smart-watch in the same time as the much-anticipated flagship smart phone.
It was announced that flagship model in the first half of each year, around March & April  and still targeting for release around that time. When Samsung release their Galaxy S5 handset, we can also expect a Gear successor with more advanced functions & the bulky design will also be improved.

Google adds prescription lenses in Glass frame

Google glass is now out with prescription lenses, sunglasses and titanium frames for its buyers. Yesterday, google announced that these lenses will be available with titanium frames. This will charge buyers an addition of $225 from their pocket on top of $1,500 price of standard glass set

Via a google+ post, Google glass team said, "If we had a nickel for every time someone has asked about prescription lenses for Glass…. well, we'd have a lot of nickels". 
The hardware which acts as camera and project internet content has been kept to the same place as it was earlier.
